I’m Monica Roe, and I wear quite a few hats in my life! I’m an author, a physical therapist, a passionate beekeeper, and deeply involved in researching and advocating for the social model of disability and inclusive rural health.
I’m proud to be a first-generation graduate, currently diving into the world of public health and disability-inclusive disaster preparedness at the University of Alaska. When I’m not busy with my studies, my family and I split our time between the beautiful landscapes of Alaska and tending to our beloved apiary in the serene, rural setting of South Carolina.
